I am passionate about utilizing open educational resources, affordable educational resources, and MOOCs to enhance learning opportunities for students. My experience teaching two MOOCs in U.S. Criminal Law, and developing a support and assessment MOOC for Hartnell College has shown me that MOOCs have value and deserve a permanent place in our higher-education landscape. Learner initiated learning is here to stay and I hope to cultivate robust and diverse pedagogical practices by leveraging technology and open resources.
