Cristina Manchado is Assistant Professor of Graphic Expression, PhD in Civil Engineering from University of Cantabria, where she has been teaching and researching since 2002. Her research focuses on Visual Impact, Computer Aided Design(CAD), Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Computer Graphics
She is author of several publications in international congresses and journals, in addition to patents and registered software, and has also participated in several research projects.
She received the 2016 Â Outstanding course OE Awards (Workshop on projects) and also the 2008 & 2009 OCW-MECD-Universia Award in the Engineering and Architecture area.
