They encourage peer-to-peer discussion and feedback on their forums, which are moderated by the course lecturer and TA. It is in this way they aim to improve higher education. MOOCs are not a replacement for the university; they simply complement and build upon existing learning. Their courses are free to anyone-they want to empower students from all over the world. They have worked with universities so students can obtain ECTS credits for three of their courses. They can take the course and submit all homework online, and then must sit the final exam in the respective university.

iversity will work closely with authors of various MOOCs on their platform and will encourage them to release their course content under open licenses.
