OE Awards for Excellence
The Open Education Awards for Excellence provide annual recognition to outstanding contributions in the Open Education community. Award categories are reviewed each year to make sure they are current, relevant and reflect the emerging innovations in the Open Education movement. Categories include other areas of openness that clearly impact and support the Open Education movement through their own Open practices. Together we stand for a world of openness where knowledge is openly and freely accessible. Awards are presented each year at the Open Education Global Conference.
Impact of Openness on Institutions
A collection of interviews with administrators and faculty from institutions around the world on the impact that open education projects and practice has had on their institutions.
Girls and Women in STEM
It has been shown that girls’ education is instrumental to enduring change. However, girls’ access to science, technology, engineering, and math education (STEM) is often inferior to boys in their same schools. Peer and societal pressures do not always support girls achievements in these important subjects. At the same time, jobs in STEM areas are growing, while the preparation for girls and women for these positions is lagging behind.
User Feedback Survey
A collection of user surveys from The OE Consortium, Tufts University, Education-Portal.com, Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV –Online) and Delft University of Technology were consolidated into a user feedback report.
If you have user survey results that you would like to share, we would like to add them to our open access document repository. Please contact us at email@example.com, and we would be happy to add your results to the repository.
