The Open Education Week 2017 Call for Participation is now open!
Join us on March 27-31, 2017 for the sixth round of The Open Education Week.
The Open Education Week (OEW) is an annual celebration of the Open Education Movement. It’s an event that seeks to raise awareness and highlight open education efforts from around the world and provide an opportunity for educators, administrators, policy makers and learners to gain a greater understanding of open education practices and impacts worldwide.
Initiated in 2012, OEW has since evolved into a truly global event attracting hundreds of contributors from nearly 50 different countries, and participants from more than 130 countries.
Coordinated by the Open Education Consortium, the event showcases projects, resources, events and ideas from around the world that demonstrate open education in practice.
Share your ‘Open’ initiatives with the world by contributing to the OEW 2017. Submit your event, resource or project by February 28th, 2017 and we’ll be sure to feature it on the OEW website. Don’t hesitate to submit your event even if t’s planned to take place before or after the official dates (March 27-31, 2017), we’ll find a place to showcase it too.
