Call for Participation: Business Models for Open, Online, Flexible and Technology-Enhanced Learning

Dear Open Education Community,

Business Models for Open, Online, Flexible and Technology-Enhanced Learning (OOFAT Models) study is being conducted of behalf of the International Council for Open & Distance Education by OER Hub at The Open University (UK) and Forschungsinstitut für Bildungs- und Sozialökonomie (FIBS).

The study covers the topics of content development, content delivery and recognition and certification.  It also asks about the overall business models being applied and attempts to understand this in terms of attitude towards openness.  Results obtained so far have validated the concept but more examples are needed to create a truly global study.  Responses from the Global South and BRIC countries are especially encouraged, but other responses are also appreciated.  You can learn more at the following links:

The project team will be presenting the findings at the ICDE conference in Toronto in October, and would love to hear from you if you represent an institution, department or project that offers some form of open, flexible, technology enhanced learning. Please share this message with anyone who might be able to contribute data, or has an innovation they would like to draw attention to.

The survey can be found at: http://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/OOFATGENERAL

Thank you for your anticipated support!  The survey will remain open until 24th June 2017.
