The International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE) and the Open Education Consortium with the support of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) and the Ministry of National Education and Youth (MENJ) will be hosting the inaugural Open Education Leadership Summit in Paris on December 3 – 4, 2018.
Almost 200 leaders from 55 countries from all levels of online learning and open education in higher education institutions, senior government officials, organizational leaders engaged in advocating for and leading adoption of open who are looking to lead will be attending the Summit.
The Summit will be an innovative, interactive event as the attendees will actively engage in hands-on activities, personal networking, and knowledge exchange around open education. Attendees will enhance their own open education efforts in these areas by learning about the latest trends and developments in open education and by engaging in knowledge exchange with peers from around the world. Personal and regional roadmaps will be generated that show
work underway and link initiatives together in coordinated ways. Outputs from this event will be used to create a more integrated open education ecosystem and accelerate progress on open education globally.
