Having received the Open Education Consortium’s Open Textbook award in 2017, the Open Access Atlas of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Operative Surgery recently reached the milestone of two million chapter downloads!

The textbook is self-published by Johan Fagan, Professor and Chair University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Division of Otolaryngology.  To date, 136 authors from 23 countries have written 109 chapters for the Atlas and 26 for the Audiology textbooks.
