Ignacio Ayala de la Peña has two PhD’s in Veterinary Sciences (Murcia University, Spain) and Veterinary Medicine (University of Bolony, Italy) and is Professor at the Veterinary Faculty of Murcia University (Spain), where he has been teaching and researching since 1998, in the fields of Veterinary Internal Medicine and Experimental Medicine.
He received the 2014 Outstanding Course Award of Excellence (ACE) of the Open Courseware Consortium for the course Gastrointestinal Endoscopy in Small Animals, as wells as one of the Spanish National Awards of the Spanish Ministry of Education (2010).
