Short presentations on 18 September will feature speakers from Maricopa Community Colleges, USA and Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico

2. OER State of the Field report

The OE Consortium is compiling surveys and other reports that have investigated OER production, adoption, use, awareness and attitudes.  We plan to produce a State of the Field report that will provide an at-a-glance overview of open education.  We will discuss our approach and goals, and would like your feedback, suggestions and help.

3. Demo of the Open Education Professional Directory

The Open Education Professional Directory provides a browsable index of open education professionals around the world.  We will give a quick demo of the directory, followed by time for feedback and questions.

4. Update on Open MOOCs through edX

Our pilot courses are underway and are open for registration at https://www.edx.org/school/oecx.  During our meeting, we’ll discuss future plans and opportunities for members to participate.

5. General updates (OEC committees, Open Education Week and more)

Open Education Week will be March 9 – 13, 2015.  We welcome your ideas and input into planning as we present the timelines and opportunities for participation.  We’ll also provide updates on our committee work and other ways you can get involved.

6. Member items to discuss/Q&A

Submit the topics you’d like to discuss through the enrollment form.  We will also leave time for members to ask questions, present ideas, request assistance and discuss with each other.
